Telena, herself, has been featured in many international publications for her work as a beauty ambassador and for her charity endeavors in addition to being featured in Essence (print and online multiple times) and People Style Watch (print) for her style choices as a fashion blogger. For years she was a fixture at shows during fashion week as a blogger and communication manager.

Telena fondly remembers that time of her life as exciting but also very educational.

During her years as a part-time PR strategist her events were featured in Refinery 29, Washington Post, Los Angeles Sentinel, DC Life Magazine, and many other outlets.
In the past decade she has made a sharp detour to focus on building the brands of companies and public figures. However, 2025 marks a year where Telena is set to return to many of her pet projects in addition to focusing on her own brands.
