Telena Cassell is a licensed attorney in the state of California and graduate of Howard University School of Law. She received her undergraduate degree in Film and Media studies at Dartmouth College. She is an avid storyteller using words and photos as her mediums. As a digital and brand strategist, she also offers one on one coaching for executives and entrepreneurs.  Telena works in brand and social media management. She has years of experience in working with studio and network teams to drive high impact social media campaigns in high pressure environments.

Over the years, Telena has built rich relationships with influencers and those in the entertainment space. In 2021 she began her journey into on set photography for several productions. She originally started as a model in front of the lens, but began her photography journey in earnest after being invited to shoot New York Fashion Week shows while in law school. Since then she has shot many celebrities over the years and is known for her portrait work and ability to produce vivid images for social media, public figures, entrepreneurs and professionals.

Telena  is no stranger to the world of fashion and beauty on many levels. Telena is a former Miss Liberia as well as founding member and former Executive Board member for Fashion Law Week—an educational fashion week that spanned four years of programming in DC and was officially declared “Fashion Law Week” by the council of the District of Columbia. 

She is a former fashion blogger who transitioned into entertainment blogging and has interviewed a number of well-known celebrities on her own platform. Telena has years of online writing experience as a blogger and has previously partnered with many notable brands including Gucci, The Sak and Peroni.

Her early career in fashion blogging and international modeling has led her to consult with companies, start-ups and fashion companies on business as well as branding and social media.  Telena has helped many brands (fashion and non-fashion based alike) grow in various stages of production.

She has written academic papers on fashion, entertainment and the law. At Howard Law, she was the Executive Notes and Comments Editor for the Human Rights & Globalization Law Review and was also responsible for the competitive write on process and subsequent training of new students who made it onto the review.

Telena is well versed in a number of timely topics and speaks at events.
